COMPLEX: Complex Terrainn Dispersion ModelCOMPLEX is the US EPA reccommended model for complex terrain conditions. Versions I and II differ for the evaluation of the lateral dispersion. Both versions are based on a gaussian formulation, but have corrections for the elevation of the receptors, the height of the mixing layer, and for the different stability classes. It may be used only for point sources, but there are options for stack trails, calm conditions, and plume rise.
COMPLEX computes short term concentration of a primary non-reactive pollutant at an urban scale.
